The New York Times Empty The New York Times

After an embarrassing loss in week one, the Jets came into week two looking to make things right. With basically a new team, the jets stormed out to take the lead 21-0. After several defensive breakdowns the Packers came back to tie the game and eventually take the lead. Geno Smith threw for 586 and 5 TDs. Knowshown Moreno ran in for 2 TDs and 56 yards. Geno Smith suffered a late 4th quarter injury and is now out for 2 weeks. This has complicate all trade proposals between Jets and other teams. Jets are now 1-1 and look to get another win next week.

The New York Times Empty Week 3 Frenzy

Post by iLeapBorderz Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:56 pm

In a crazy game between the Jets and the Bears the jets were able to squeek past the Bears with a 28-31 victory. Alshon Jeffery tore up the secondary with some spectacular catches, but newly acquired Antonio Gates answered back with great collection of catch and runs. Rookie RB De'Anthony Thomas got the start this game and it was clear that it was his first game in as he only came up with 56 yards. It is also cleat that the Jets need a new QB. With Geno Smith headed out after recovering from his injury and Vick getting older, the Jets will begin to develop Stephen Morris or pick up a new rookie with their 5 first round picks. Golden Tate had a relatively quiet game only picking 4 receptions for 60 yards. Next week the Jets face off against the Lions and hope to make it three in a row.

The New York Times Empty New York Times Week 4!

Post by iLeapBorderz Sat Sep 20, 2014 12:23 pm

With week 4 comes another victory for your New York Jets! In a close game up to the 4th quarter the Jets faced off against the Lions. Calvin Johnson had a hell of game, but right before half time star QB Matthew Stafford was pummeled by the monster LB Clay Matthews and taken out for the remainder of the game with a bruised sternum. Stephen Hill the young WR now has 505 receiving yards which puts him 3rd in the league for yards receiving. It is clear that although Micheal Vick ran 2 TD's from inside the 5, he will not cut it as a starting QB for the Jets. His inaccuracies were almost to costly, but he did what he needed to do for the time being. Donald Brown the newly acquired HB ran it in today for a 30 yard run. He may be the answer to the Jets problem in the backfield, but it is not sure. The final score ended up 49-28, as the Jets were able to pull away at the end. Jets are now 3-1

Jets are looking for a QB and HB as well as some CB's.

FINAL SCORE
48-29
Next up the Chargers in week 4

Game Ball goes to Stephen Hill
